itch.io has no public developer search, so AppWatch reads your games with an API key from your own account.
Step by step
Sign in to itch.io
Use the account that owns your games.
Open the API keys page
Go to Settings → API keys, or open the link below.
Generate a key
Press "Generate new API key". Give it a name you will recognise, such as AppWatch, and copy the key that appears.
Treat it like a password. You can revoke it from the same page whenever you want.
Paste it in AppWatch
On the web: Settings → itch.io API key. In the app: connect store → itch.io. Paste the key and save.
Your games and first data appear within a minute.

Check that the key belongs to the account that owns the games, not to a collaborator account, and that you pasted it without spaces.
▶Can I stop sharing it?
Yes. Revoke the key on the itch.io API keys page and AppWatch loses access immediately.

No, any itch.io account that owns games can create an API key.
